MayDay Concert 29-08-09

This year, their concert lasted for 3.5hrs, from 8.30pm all the way until 1215am! Their performance that night was fantastic and everyone are so HIGH. Apart from the "dragging" of time, which i believe it's because they are all very tired due to the previous night performance which also lasted till 12++am, the rest of it were great.

I've been feeling really upset, low morale, confusion and thinking of alot of things. Going to their concert really brightened up my day and their songs are so superb nice. I just wont seem to get sick of hearing it though I've heard it like a hundred times already.

Okie.. Some clearer pictures that i took that day!!

Everyone should go and watch their concert at least once in their lifetime because it is really a no regret.

Cousin Si' En's Wedding

Woke up so early on last Sat for my cousin's wedding.... Wah! She's pretty pretty!... and i guess all brides are pretty. Busy running around that morning with all the traditional chinese customs.... and by the time everything ends, it's already 2.30pm.

Went over to darl's place and we tot perhaps we can take a 1 hr nap and gosh by the time i woke up, it's 4.35pm! We are suppose to pick my aunt up at 6.15pm and i still need to rush home, change, make up and to get my hair done at the salon! I reached home at 5.30pm and quickly change and make up, i rushed down to the hair salon and asked the stylist to get my hair done as soon as possible. She's good man!! She done my hair in 10 mins and it looks georgous! Reached my aunt place at around 6.45pm and PIE JAM!! So we reach Goodwood Park Hotel only at 7.30pm. But well, all wedding dinner starts late.... So it's still ok.

Didnt really get much photos that day as i've been too busy talking to my long distance relatives from Australia, Malaysia and some from States. Updating each other on our lifes so far... And furtermore, there's a few photographers there's no need me to take out my cute little Nikon.

Still, i cant resist, but take a few pics of me and Darl...

Hong Kong Trip 301208 - 050109

Okie!! i know this post is wayyyy too late... but im just too busy to update!!

1st Day - Hong Kong DisneyLand.

We had our 1st countdown to 2009 in Hong Kong DisneyLand... The feeling was FANTASTIC!! Initially we wanted to go Lan Kwai Fang but there not enough time for us to rush over if we wanna catch the fireworks at DisneyLand... Nevertheless, it's still a great experience there and while we finish our countdown and make our way back to Tsim Sha Shui, we saw many police patrolling around.... It's much more then Singapore.

2nd Day - ShenZhen

3rd Day & 4th Day - Lautau Island & Macau

Taking the cable car up to Lautau Island, the weather there was freezing cold~~~....

5th Day - The Peak

While going up to the peak, we saw this nice japanese restaruant and thought since it's our last night here in Hong Kong, maybe we should try it... So we went in... the atmosphere was nice. However, the food was no way compared to our japanese food here in Singapore, and the price was about the same!

Dec, a month filled with fun and laughter. Parties, parties and more parties!!

Time flies by and little did i realize the last time i blog was October. Well, just a short recap, December was a month filled with many parties. 1st it was our Annual Dinner and Dance, next up was our X'mas party at St. James, then it was our team trip followed by huili's wedding and finally my Hong Kong trip!

It's a month of wine, beer and liquor, and that i drink until i dread the smell and taste of it. Yuckz! Imagine drinking red wines, followed by white wines, beers, some liquor and duno what else.... It sucks! But what to do, boss treat so must give face plus my boss's boss is around too. Haiz drink like there's no tomorrow. What's best, after our x'mas party, boss treat us to another round of "party" at dragonfly. I think he was already drunk by us that night that he cant really remember he "signed" for all the drinks that night. Haha. Serves him right for being so mean to us every morning meeting. Haha Well, 800++ is small money to him lar... Who cares!

I feel Blessed ~~

A couple of weeks ago, my friend from Malaysia came in to Singapore, we brought her to where else but SENTOSA!! We had a great time relaxing ourselves at Sentosa and just a week ago, it's my birthday!! Time passes by so fast as we grow older. I feel bless to have a boyfriend who is always here for me, very patient towards me, and always listen to my complains and sorrows about work, boss, customers and all. No one is perfect and I'm sure we are able to compromise each others shortcomings.

A very wonderful dinner treat from him, a precious birthday gift from him. Thank you for arranging and preparing surprises for me on my birthday.

Dar took this photo when I'm still not ready. The atmosphere there is nice and 80% of the crowd there are ang - mos... , hence the food and the wine are also quite expensive. But it's all worth the price as the food are really fantastic. Think of it now really makes me drool....

New Job, New Environment, New Beginning

Barely two months of no blogging and here i am blogging on Sunday night. Tommorow is yet another start of a brand new week and also yet another start of my stressful days in SCB. Well, I dun wanna illustrate wat kind of job im working nw but those who knows me, will know wat it is. Hehe.

Kinda miss the life i had when i do not need to work, do not need to worry about finances and can have all the time i have to spend with darl.

God bless me for he knows what i need most now.

Back From Port Dickson

First Day

We set off from Singapore at around 12pm and we reached our destination after a long 4 hrs drive. Well, the journey was supposed to be only around 3 hrs drive but, because we are unfamiliar with the place and even with the help of GPS, we kinda made a lot of unnecessary rounds trying to look for petrol station. However, upon reaching the resort, we were greeted by friendly staffs and comfortable resting areas. Our room is fantastic, with balcony over-looking the sea and the view of sunset is just right before our eyes. What I like best is still the undoubtedly its bathroom. The size of its bathroom is almost half the size of our room with a bathtub as well as a showering area.

After reaching the resort, first thing i do was to soak myself in the bathtub because the weather is really too hot. Rested for awhile and its dinner time!!. We were both so hungry because both of us did not had our lunch. We drove out and decided to just settle for a chinese restaurant. We ordered steamed fish, egg and vege, like our zi char but it taste delicious!! I especially like their fu rong egg, wasnt too sure is it because im too hungry or it really taste nice, but i like it.

Back to our resort and soon after, both of us felt really sleepy and we had an early night.

Second Day

We had events packed according to our schedule. First and foremost, our breakfast buffet. They have alot of variety of food for its customers and i would say its quality is not too bad. After breakfast, we went kayaking. My first time kayak and it's really tiring. Next up, sun tanning and sauna!! After lunch, we rested for a while and off we went to our scheduled spa appointment. Personally, i doesnt really like their massage but overall not too bad since it's included in our package. By the time we reached back to our room to prepare for our candlelight dinner, i saw the magnificant view - sunset right before my eyes.

The food for our candlelight dinner was good but i like its red wine best. After which, we went out for a drive looking for beers. Over there, most of its petrol station did not sell alcoholic drink due to its religion but we managed to find it in 7-11. Back to our room to continue our drink and we had a long night talking and enjoying our drink. We drank red wine, ice wine as well as beers end up, we puked like hell.

Third Day

We checked out at 12 noon and off we proceed to our next destination - Jusco. Maybe it's due to our hang over, both of us doesnt really have the mood to walk around and appetite. Once we reached Singapore custom, i took the turn to drive instead because darl wanna rest after driving for so long.

All in all, this trip there is fantastic. Simple, relaxing and nice food.
